We provide local Artists with premium space in some of the city’s best locales. Our focus is providing our staff with everything they need to create some of the city’s best art in a clean and safe environment. We are 100% artist owned, by artists and for artists.

We are more than a tattoo studio, we are a family, travelers on the great road who ended up not where we necessarily thought we would go, but where we needed to be. Inked Memphis has two locations for you to choose from. Our shops aren’t in some neighborhood shopping plaza or mall. They are on the Highland Strip, just steps from the University of Memphis and in the heart of historically hip Cooper/Young … places where Memphis has a great history and nightlife.

This culminates in Memphis‘s best tattoo and piercing experience. Check us out, make an appointment, do a little shopping in the neighborhood, and finish the night off with some of the city’s best dining and live music.

ZenHouse/Sounds Good Recordings

Zen House is a unique event space in the Cooper-Young district in Midtown, equipped with everything you need for an intimate celebration. With our state-of-the-art sound system, handcrafted stage, pub-style bar and decorative lighting, your event will look, sound and feel like Zen.

Live Music & Performances
Whether you’re hosting a full band, a DJ, or just running music via Bluetooth, our stage has the flexibility and space to make it happen. LED lighting sets the mood, and a complete sound system—amps, speakers, and subwoofers—is available for your use, so you can focus on the performance, not the logistics.

Professional Sound & Lighting
Our signature Zen sound is our specialty. The unique shape of the venue, paired with warm wood paneling, is designed to create exceptionally crisp, balanced, and immersive audio. Every detail of the room works with the sound, not against it. And if you want to take your event even further, we can provide a professional audio engineer or lighting designer to elevate the experience even more, available as an add-on for an additional fee.

Recording Studio
Zen House Studios is built for serious sound and inspired creativity. Outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, a full suite of plug-ins, and drum kits, bass/ guitar amps, this space is ready for tracking, mixing, and producing at the highest level. It’s also fully set up for rehearsals, making it perfect for bands, solo artists, and producers alike
