Though concise, our food menu was designed to complement our beverage selection. While we are not a full-service restaurant – food was certainly not an afterthought. Intended to be sharable and light, but substantive; we offer something for everyone.

Imagine Vegan Cafe is a husband and wife owned and operated, family-friendly, vegan cafe. We opened in 2011 with the intent to bring compassionate food choices to Memphis with a southern style, greasy-spoon flare. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Memphians know great BBQ and won’t settle for anything less. Central BBQ has been ranked in the top 3 BBQ restaurants in Memphis since 2003 and taken top honors ten times.

At Central BBQ we slow smoke all our meats: ribs, pork, chicken, turkey, beef brisket, sausage and bologna. Our premium meats are rubbed with a secret combination of dry spices, marinated for 24 hours, then are smoked low and slow in the pit over a combination of hickory and pecan woods.
No sauce is ever introduced into the pit.

You’ll want to try Central’s BBQ Nachos and smoked hot wings too. Save room for dessert — one of our resident hippies makes most of the desserts – so you know it’s good!

Craig Blondis and Roger Sapp met on the BBQ circuit in the mid-80s. After competing in Memphis in May’s World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest and many other local and regional BBQ competitions they made the leap from friends to business partners.

The pit at the first Central BBQ on Central Avenue was fired up in 2002 and from day one has been a success thanks to their wonderful customers.

Central BBQ has consistently been ranked #1 BBQ in Memphis since 2005. Craig, Roger and Central BBQ have appeared on several national TV shows including Pitmasters, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Crave and BBQ with Bobby Flay. Additionally Central BBQ has been featured in several national publications such as USA Today, Garden & Gun, Southern Living and Men’s Health.

Celtic Crossing serves up a variety of pints, more than 100 whiskeys and delicious Irish fare for weekend brunch, and lunch and dinner daily that are inspired by owner and Irishman DJ Naylor’s traditional family recipes. The pub, which opened in 2005, celebrates the spirit of a quintessential Irish pub in an easy and relaxed environment for all to enjoy, especially soccer fans.

As one of (if not the!) best places in Memphis to watch futbol, Celtic frequently opens as early as 6 a.m. to ensure fans don’t miss a minute of the action being played across the pond.

Cafe PALLADIO offers table-service with a delightful lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, and soups. Our coffee is roasted in Memphis by Dr. Bean’s Coffee Emporium. Our teas are blended and packaged in Memphis by My Cup of Tea, a business with a ministry. Our desserts are our own, local, or Sugarees from New Albany, Mississippi. “Look Good Eat Good” are the words emblazoned on the front windows of the Beauty Shop, the crown jewel of Chef Karen Carrier’s current group of Memphis eateries and entrepreneurial endeavors. This hip and trendy restaurant is housed in the former Atkins Beauty Salon where Priscilla Presley was a regular.

From art student to artist to chef to restaurateur, Karen’s creativity is evident from the moment you walk inside. It is a campy wonderland where the façade is Jetsons- era Virotlite and where nostalgia is served with a sense of humor. While the décor pays playful homage to its beauty parlor past when it comes to the fare this is Big Bold flavors resulting in the ambitious merger of Southern food with international flavors.
